Alimkhanuly offered opponent with title after contacting WBO

WBO Europe title holder Danny Dignum (14-0-1, 8 KOs) was offered as a rival for Zhanibek Alimkhanuly (11-0, 7 KOs) in the fight for the interim WBO middleweight title, bbabo.net reports.

The fight was proposed by promoter Lee Eaton, who represents the interests of Dignum, responding to the initiative of the Kazakhstani.

"dannydignum1, who is ranked fifth, is ready to step into the ring if the fee is right," shared Eaton.

Let us add that earlier the Kazakhstani claimed a fight with ex-world champion Jaime Mungia (39-0, 31 KOs), but the WBO has not yet announced a bidding for their fight.
