Rafael Fiziev, a native of Kazakhstan, challenged ex-UFC champion Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos, bbabo.net correspondent reports.

Earlier, dos Anjos made an appeal to the UFC, announcing his readiness to enter the octagon in any of the two weight categories in the very near future. Fiziev responded to the proposals of the Brazilian.

"Champion, our fight deserves to be the main event of the evening. Let's find out which of the two is the best Rafael in the UFC," Fiziev tweeted.

Dos Anjos last entered the Octagon in November 2020, defeating American Paul Felder by split decision.

Fiziev had his last fight at UFC Vegas 44 when he knocked out New Zealand's Brad Riddell in the third round.
