Welsh UFC fighter Jack Shore (16-0) won his fifth victory in the American promotion. It happened on the preliminary card of the UFC Fight Night 204 tournament in London, bbabo.net reports.
His opponent was the experienced Russian Timur Valiev (18-3-0-1). The bantamweight bout was designed for three rounds and eventually lasted the entire distance. It ended with the victory of the 27-year-old fighter from Wales by unanimous decision - 29:28, 29:28, 29:27.
For Shor, this victory was the 16th in his professional career. On his account there is not a single defeat. Jack is now in second place among UFC fighters with the best perfect records.
In the first place is the Chechen bantamweight fighter Hussein Askhabov (23-0), who has not yet made his debut in the UFC after signing the contract. Shore moved up to second place with a 16-0 record.
