Kazakh fighter Damir Ismagulov turned to ex-UFC champion Tony Ferguson after entering the top 15 of the division, bbabo.net reports.

First, Ismagulov noted Dan Hooker, who ranks 13th in lightweight, and then wrote to Ferguson (ninth position).

"While Dan Hooker thinks, maybe we'll jump out," Ismagulov left a message to Ferguson and continued: "Let's fight."

We add that ideal candidates for Ismagulov were previously identified, and the Kazakhstani turned to Conor McGregor.
