On Friday, April 1, the 38th tournament of the Naiza Fighting Championship will be held in Almaty. Almost important thing to know about this tournament is that the event will be held online, that is, without spectators in the stands. Naiza League President Nurbek Karabala explained why the organization made such a decision, bbabo.net correspondent reports.
"Today, there are plenty of events in various directions in Almaty. Based on our experience of holding Naiza offline events, we realized that while the Almaty audience is not ready to attend tournaments monthly, especially twice a month. We will try to hold Naiza events in an offline format once a quarter with the participation of spectators," the promoter said.
Karabala also explained how two tournaments of ten fights are better than one event consisting of 18 fights.
"Firstly, Naiza today has a large roster of fighters, more than half of them are strong world-class fighters. Creating a card event and determining the main fight of the evening, for example, it is difficult to choose between the fights of Aizhigit Erkebay Uulu, Magomed Kabardiev or Alibi Idrisa. They are all equal, powerful. And for such cool fighters, one card is not enough. We decided to divide and create a show from each card. In April we will have only two events. On April 1, we will hold the 38th event with a live broadcast on Naiza TV In mid-April, we plan to show the 39th event.
Secondly, the audience is not ready to watch 18 fights in one evening. It's hard. Our fans are ready to sit out a maximum of ten fights. According to our analytics, during ten fights the viewer does not forget who fought on the card and gets the maximum pleasure from watching the tournament," he stressed.

Note that this will be the second Naiza tournament since the beginning of 2022. The organization held nine events last year. The league was previously ranked in the top 25 worldwide.
