Barys has signed a Russian hockey player

Hockey club "Barys" has officially announced the conclusion of a contract with defender Eduard Shetle, the press service reports.

The 19-year-old Russian hockey player signed a bilateral agreement for a period of one season (until April 30, 2023).

“Chetlet spent the last two years in the Snow Leopards. Last season, Eduard scored 11 (3+8) points in 46 matches in the championship of Kazakhstan.

Also, the defense player played in the national team of Kazakhstan at the World Youth Championship in the first division. For 5 meetings, Shetelet scored one assist," Barys informs.

Let us add that earlier the Kazakh club signed several more players, and Canadian defender Christopher Bigras, who flew to Kazakhstan, should join the training with the main team.
