According to the fighter, the problem with USADA was caused by the drug Clomid to solve fertility problems.

"I told USADA everything I knew. My wife and I were undergoing treatment to give birth to another child. This is not a steroid, but a medicine. They interviewed me, my wife and the doctor, took all the prescriptions and medical records, the results of all examinations and still removed me.

USADA punishes a person the way they want. I made money in the UFC, but peace of mind is more important. Can't I have a baby because of USADA and the UFC? Fuck them all, I will fight in Brazil and make money there. Family comes first, "Prazeres said.

Prazeres had his last fight against Kazakhstani Shavkat Rakhmonov in June this year as part of the UFC Fight Night 190 tournament. In that confrontation, the Brazilian fighter lost by submission in the second round. After this defeat, Michel asked to terminate his contract with the UFC in order to go into business.

Prazeres made his UFC debut in a fight with compatriot Paulo Tiago in May 2013. Michel lost this fight by unanimous decision. He has 26 victories and four defeats.
