Former coach of "Taraz" Vardan Minasyan in an interview with "Sputnik Armenia" recalled the period of his work in the Kazakh Premier League. He noted that this club is a source of personnel for the national team.

- You have worked in the Premier League of Kazakhstan twice. In "Taraz" you received high marks from the coaches of the opposing teams, from the local press. Was it pleasant for you?

- When you hear such things, it is, of course, pleasant at first, but I don’t dwell on it, because the main thing in professional football is the result. Results are now of two types. The result, which is visible, say, in the standings, and how much the team's play has progressed, regardless of the standings. These are two metrics that I am currently working on.

- At least one of the two you achieved in “Taraz”, because the team included a footballer who returned to the national team of Kazakhstan. Bauyrzhan Baytana said that his sports revival was due to your work.

- Yes, in "Taraz" there was progress both in the team game and in individual players. We had three players who played for the national team of Kazakhstan under 21, and two played for the national team of the country. I will say that "Taraz" in Kazakhstan is a forge of players for the national team and a supplier of footballers, just like "Pyunik" in Armenia at one time. As for the team's place in the standings, at first we completed the task, finishing in sixth place, then there was a decline due to financial problems. I don’t even want to remember this. In any case, the management of the club was pleased with the result.
