A few years ago, they all responded to the offer of a charity organization to create a theater for people 55+. We passed the casting and staged performances with a professional director - real ones, with costumes and scenery. But in the spring of 2020, for a well-known reason, they suddenly became not only restricted to travel abroad, but from the apartment they were “not allowed to leave”. We sat. We got bored. They began to call. Then, together with their grandchildren who settled at a distance, they mastered Zoom and began to rehearse. And in the fall, the "Online Theater from Yekaterinburg" was opened.
Its founder, producer, director, sound engineer and video editing operator, teacher and Karabas-Barabas (just a little bit) was Alexander Lukanin, a holder of two diplomas of higher education, a theoretical physicist and economist who has been successfully doing business for many years. That allowed him, having reached retirement age, in his words, "not to depend on the state, but to delegate his powers to assistants." The representative of the new generation of pensioners began to read books and watch TV shows, passed the casting, played in the theater. But the kingdom was still not enough ... and he created his own theater. He approached the matter thoroughly: he rented a room for rehearsals, equipped a studio for filming and sound recording, and entered the Art of Theater course at the theater institute.
The troupe crept up instantly, former engineers, personnel officers, teachers, seamstresses, architects bravely stepped onto the acting path. Now they are engaged in stage movement, hone their diction with tongue twisters (how do you like this, for example: "Chickens shielded the screens with their wings, but did not encode"). The head of the discounts on pressure, employment with grandchildren and gardens does not, without a QR code does not let him go to classes, since the new year he has introduced a requirement - to rehearse without papers, because memory must be trained and the text must be taught at home.
Today, the repertoire of the "Online Theater from Yekaterinburg" includes more than two hundred videos and video clips with poems, fairy tales, songs, mischievous ditties, skits. Post videos on social media. The number of subscribers alone has exceeded a thousand, and views and likes ... However, this is not the main thing.
