Russia (bbabo.net), - The 10th Anniversary APK&T Award is being prepared to be presented this spring. Now the Association of Film and Television Producers (as the abbreviation APKiT stands for) has announced a short list of finalists. I wrote about a long list earlier. According to the results of the first round of jury voting, the shortlist included 28 series and 3 feature films. In total, there were 147 film projects in the long list.
Of the 28 TV series, 17 projects are nominated for the X APKiT Award, which were released exclusively on video services. Four series from the shortlist were shown by Kinopoisk, four more by Start, three by Kion, Okko and Premier had two nominees each, and one each by more.tv and ivi. Among the 11 TV premieres, two projects were shown on Channel Five, two each were shown by TV Center and STS Kids, one project each from Channel One, NTV, TNT, Russia 1 and the Karusel channel.
The APKiT National Film Award is awarded in 21 nominations. The professional prize recognizes series, films and the achievements of industry representatives in their creation. The main difference between this award and other Russian film awards is that the choice of laureates is based on the collective opinion of leading Russian film producers.
Consider who is nominated for the anniversary award. The leader of the shortlist is the TV series "Vertinsky" - 13 nominations (by the way, at the recent Golden Eagle award, "Vertinsky" won in the nomination "Best Series of Online Platforms"). "Vampires of the Middle Band" received 10 nominations for the APKiT award, of which in eight the series intersects with "Vertinsky". The series "Happy End" - 5 nominations.
The mystical detective "Hotel Phoenix", the psychological thriller "Missing" and the military drama "Axe.1943". One of these projects will become the best mini-series. In the nomination "Best series (5-24 episodes)" the producers included "Happy End", "Vertinsky" and "Crystal". In the category of more than 24 episodes, the second season of the series "Anna Detective", "Die Hard" and "Next New Series" are presented.
The authors of the TV series Big Second, Vampires of the Middle Band and Vertinsky were nominated for the Best Screenplay award. The directors of all these projects will also compete for the title of the best, and along with them, the series "Happy End" is on the list in this nomination.
The best comedy series of the year, according to the producers, are the second seasons of such series as "Polar" and "Unscrupulous", as well as "Middle Band Vampires". The third season of "Fantasy Patrol", "Three Cats" and "Princess" is contending for the award in the "Best Animated Series" nomination.
"The best feature film" the jury will choose from the films "Dad", "Compartment number six" and "The Last Hero. The Root of Evil".
The best actor can be Yuri Stoyanov ("Vampires of the Middle Band"), Alexei Filimonov ("Vertinsky") and Alexei Guskov ("Seventh Symphony"). Guskov, who, we recall, only recently received the Golden Eagle for this work. In the nomination "Best Actress" - Elena Tronina ("Happy End"), Tatyana Dogileva ("Vampires of the Middle Band"), Elena Lyadova ("Beyond Myself") and Yulia Peresild ("Gloomy River"). Nominees in the Best Supporting Actor in a Series category were Alexander Gorchilin ("Happy End"), Maxim Lagashkin ("Lucky"), Alexander Robak ("Insomnia") and Alexei Agranovich ("My Mom's Penguins"). Victoria Isakova ("Vertinsky"), Yuliya Aug ("Container") and Alexandra Ursulyak ("My Mom's Penguins") compete for the award as "Best Supporting Actress in a Series". Ursulyak also received the "Golden Eagle", but in the nomination "Best Actress in a Series".
