Singer Diana Gurtskaya has been performing in dark glasses for many years - she has congenital blindness. On the air of the show “Together”, she told how she lives without sight.

According to the 43-year-old artist, she can rarely do without outside help and is used to being assisted. “If they helped me, then I am extremely grateful to them. They definitely helped me. Dreaming is one thing, but when there are people nearby who create everything so that you have the opportunity to go further, ”she shares.

Gurtskaya stressed that she does not consider blindness a problem and feels normal. “I use the words “watched a movie”, “looked at the clock”. Everyone has their own inner world through which they look. I can’t say: “I felt the clock.” For me, these words are acceptable - watch a movie, read a book, and so on, ”she explained.

At the end of 2020, Gurtskaya contracted a coronavirus infection and refused hospitalization. Her brother said that the disease was mild.
