The investigation intends to extend the measure of restraint for blogger Yuri Khovansky in the form of a ban on certain actions, according to the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg in the Telegram channel.

The corresponding petition was registered by the Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg. The UK asks to extend the ban on certain actions to Khovansky until 02/08/2022.

A day earlier, the blogger changed the measure of restraint and was released from the pre-trial detention center. According to the court ruling, until January 8, Khovansky cannot leave his home from 6 pm to 10 am, attend public events and use the Internet (communicating with the media is also prohibited).

Yuri Khovansky was detained on June 9, 2021, a criminal case was opened against him under the article on justifying terrorism. The reason was the song about the terrorist attack on Dubrovka, performed by a blogger on one of the streams. The blogger insists that he sang the song back in 2012 - before the introduction of the corresponding article.
