As Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina noted, everyone is helped to understand the issues of starting and running their own business, and is also informed about city support measures: “Last year, MBM specialists conducted 109,000 consultations, and in just 10 years - about 800,000. This service remains one of the most sought-after among entrepreneurs. Experts help choose a tax regime, find suitable premises, talk about subsidies, grants and other support measures provided by the city."
At the end of 2021, the MBM compiled a rating of the most popular questions. 28 percent of requests from entrepreneurs were about support measures that the city provides to small and medium-sized businesses. In addition, they asked about specific types of financial assistance that can be obtained in the capital. Subsidies and grants were discussed at almost 20,000 consultations (more than 18 percent). The top three included the question of the state registration of individual entrepreneurs - it was asked to specialists over 10 thousand times (almost 10 percent).
MBM specialists also often helped determine the optimal taxation system, select city premises for rent, advised on the issues of making changes to the information contained in the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs or the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.
You can get advice both in person and remotely. First, the service is provided online on the website mbm.mos.ru. You need to open the "Menu" tab in the upper left corner of the site and select the "Consultation" section. Next, you need to decide on the subject of the appeal: for example, "Explanation of tax regimes", "Participation in procurement" and "Self-employment". And in a special field you can ask your question. Specialists respond within one to two business days, depending on the complexity of the issue.

The addresses and opening hours of the centers are published on the website. Advice on starting a business is also provided at the flagship offices of My Documents and at the Interdistrict Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service No. 46, where you can also apply for registration of an individual entrepreneur or LLC in one-stop mode.
