Named popular travel destinations among Russians on February 14

Travel services Tutu.ru and OneTwoTrip found out where the Russians planned a trip for Valentine's Day. It is reported by RBC.

According to Tutu.ru, from February 11 to February 14, Russians bought air tickets to Moscow (18.6%), St. Petersburg (9.1%), Sochi (5.4%), Mineralnye Vody and Krasnodar (3.1% each).

The average check for these dates in one direction increased by 3% compared to last year - from 5904 to 6108 rubles.

By trains on the indicated dates, most of the trips are also planned to Moscow and St. Petersburg (26% and 11%).

OneTwoTrip analyzed the purchase of air tickets with a departure on February 12 and a return on February 14. The top 5 included Moscow (21.4%),

Sochi (12.9%), St. Petersburg (9.9%), Mineralnye Vody (4.9%) and Istanbul (3.6%).

It is noted that the popularity of traveling to Moscow among Russians this year fell by 20%, while interest in Mineralnye Vody and Krasnodar increased by 20%, and the popularity of Kaliningrad increased by 70%.

Earlier it was reported that before Valentine's Day, Russians are buying up personal care products.
