"The electronic funds of the system participants frozen in JSC Bank KKB will be paid to their owners. The procedure for the return of funds will be announced later," the company said in a statement.

The payment system also expressed regret over the position of the Central Bank. Earlier it became known that the Central Bank revoked the license from the Conservative Commercial Bank. "Bank" KKB "actually did not carry out traditional banking activities, specializing in the provision of services in the field of electronic commerce," the press service of the Central Bank noted.

The WebMoney system has been operating in Russia since 1998.
