The international payment system Webmoney will find a solution to continue working with residents from Russia, RIA Novosti reports.

It is noted that 40% of system users live in Russia. For these people, the company is going to find a payment solution within the framework of the legal model of EMF (electronic money), introduced at the request of the Central Bank, or based on other solutions under Russian law.

At the moment, more than 45 million users are registered in the WebMoney system.

Earlier, the money transfer system announced the unavailability of operations on Russian wallets due to the revocation of the license from the settlement bank.

The Central Bank revoked the license of the Conservative Commercial Bank, which served WebMoney, on February 11. According to the regulator, the activities of the credit institution were characterized by increased risks of its involvement in servicing the "shadow" gambling business, illegal participants in the financial market.
