The Bank of Russia has revoked the banking license from Joint Stock Company Conservative Commercial Bank (KKB).

The credit institution violated the laws governing banking activities, as well as the regulations of the Bank of Russia, and did not comply with the requirements of the legislation in the field of combating money laundering.

It is clarified that the bank practically did not carry out traditional banking activities and specialized in providing services in the field of electronic commerce.

Also, KKB did not study the economic meaning of the operation of clients, the sources of funds for which were non-transparent.

“The activities of the credit institution were characterized by increased risks of its involvement in servicing the “shadow” gambling business, illegal participants in the financial market,” the publication on the regulator’s website says.

At present, a temporary administration of the Central Bank has been appointed to KKB, which will operate until the appearance of a bankruptcy trustee or liquidator.

In terms of assets, the credit institution occupied 164th place in the banking system of Russia.

Earlier it was reported that the Bank of Russia revoked the license from NPO Premium.
