Russia (bbabo.net), - At a meeting on Thursday, the Cabinet of Ministers will consider amendments to the Tax Code to stabilize the situation with rising fuel prices. The draft law proposes to adjust the parameters of the "damping mechanism" of the excise tax on petroleum raw materials.
Earlier, Secretary of State, Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Sazanov said that the ministry, together with the Ministry of Energy, proposes indexing the conditional fuel price in the damper calculation formula. It was assumed that the changes in the parameters will take effect from July 1.
Another bill amending the Tax Code, submitted to the meeting, should encourage enterprises to identify and put on the balance of property rights to the results of intellectual activity, ensure their legal protection and subsequent involvement in circulation. The document establishes that when determining the tax base for corporate income tax, the relevant income in the form of property rights is not taken into account. This will affect the results of intellectual activity identified during the inventory in the period from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024, and for small and medium-sized businesses - until December 31, 2026.
