Russia (bbabo.net), - The number of Russians who prefer to work in the office rather than at home has noticeably increased over the year. These data were obtained during a survey conducted by DOM.RF and VCIOM.

At the end of 2020, 44% of the surveyed working Russians said they wanted to work in the office, at the end of 2021 their share increased to 59%.

The share of employees already working in the office on a permanent basis has also grown significantly - from 62% in 2020 to 78% in 2021. About 14% of the working population combine remote and "office" formats, working on a combined schedule. Moreover, such a schedule attracts twice as many employees - 28%.

Only 9% of respondents are ready to completely switch to remote work. At the same time, 8% already work remotely on a permanent basis. At the same time, among those who have already tried remote work, 2.5 times more (45%) want to keep this or a combined format than among those who have not had such experience (18%).

More than half of those with remote work experience (53%) consider their housing to be quite suitable format. The rest indicate that at home there is no specially equipped place, conditions, office equipment (61% of those who are dissatisfied) and it is difficult to concentrate - household members distract from work (17%), noise and non-working atmosphere interfere (18%). One in five considered housing unsuitable for "remote work" due to poor internet.

"Stability is still important for employees, the ability to maintain a balance between personal life and the office, the feeling of real concern for their well-being by the company," notes the acting director. Director for HR and Operational Efficiency DOM.RF Zakhar Malakhov. This year, he believes, the need for flexible thinking will increase both on the part of the employer and on the part of employees. "This is the time to 'reinvent' not only ourselves, but also the processes within the organization," says Malakhov.
