“We do not support Nord Stream 2. We clearly communicated that we continue to oppose him, believing that this geopolitical project of Russia undermines the national security of a large part of the countries of Europe, ”the spokeswoman said at a regular briefing.

She also repeatedly voiced position of the American authorities - "if Russia invades Ukraine, Nord Stream 2 will not be launched."

In addition, Psaki said during a briefing that the military exercises of the Russian Federation and Belarus led to an aggravation of tension around Ukraine.
