Russia (bbabo.net), - The introduction of a ban on cryptocurrencies in Russia would make millions of people violators of the laws. This was stated by Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseev, TASS reports.
According to him, the concept of the Ministry of Finance for the regulation of cryptocurrencies takes into account all the risks that the Central Bank of the Russian Federation warned about.
"Understanding regulation excludes the possibility of a parallel financial system appearing in Russia, introduces clear and understandable rules of the game for market participants, creates tools to protect the rights of investors, including current ones. In the event of a ban, all of them could automatically become violators of the law, and this millions of people," Moiseev explained.
The Deputy Minister is also sure that the ban on cryptocurrencies and mining can slow down the development of new technologies, lead to an outflow of highly qualified specialists abroad and a shortfall in tax revenues.
The Bank of Russia still opposes the legalization of cryptocurrencies. According to the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina, the legalization of cryptocurrencies will create conditions for tax evasion.
