Named the regions of Russia with the best standard of living

Moscow and St. Petersburg again retained their leadership in the ranking of regions in terms of quality of life, and the Moscow Region is also at the top of this list. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to its own research.

In total, experts assessed 85 regions on 67 indicators. Agency experts note that this top three has not changed for many years. According to last year's data, Moscow has the highest rating score - 81.4 out of a possible 100, St. Petersburg has a small lead - 80.2, and the Moscow Region - 75.9. Analysts believe that the composition of the top three is unlikely to change in the coming years.

The top ten also includes Tatarstan, Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod and Leningrad Regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, as well as Samara and Nizhny Novgorod Regions.

At the very end of the ranking are Kalmykia, Ingushetia, the Kurgan region, Altai, Buryatia, the Jewish Autonomous Region, Karachay-Cherkessia, the Trans-Baikal Territory and Tuva.

Earlier, the head of the Accounts Chamber, Alexei Kudrin, assessed the standard of living in Russia after the collapse of the USSR.
