Zelensky's office commented on the data on the closure of airspace over Ukraine

Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, said that Kiev does not see the point in closing airspace. It is reported by Reuters.

“Ukraine sees no point in closing the airspace. This is nonsense. I think that in some sense it resembles a partial blockade,” he said.

Earlier, Strana.ua reported that Western insurers could close the sky over Ukraine by canceling insurance guarantees. The air blockade will affect not only foreign air carriers, but also Ukrainian ones, as well as any private aircraft.

After that, Oleksiy Goncharenko, a member of the Rada from the European Solidarity faction, said that air traffic over Ukraine would probably be suspended from Monday, February 14.

At the moment, it is known that the KLM airline from the Netherlands has stopped flights to Ukraine, and the SkyUp company's plane landed in Chisinau due to a ban on entering Ukrainian airspace.
