Russia (bbabo.net), - President Vladimir Putin signed a law on administrative fines for telecom operators, payment agents and banks for transferring money to illegal online casinos and lotteries. The document is published on the official portal of legal information.

For officials, the fine will be from 100 to 500 thousand rubles, for legal entities - from 25% to 40% of the amount of the accepted payment, but not less than 5 million rubles. If a violation is committed by a credit institution, then the fine for an official will be from 100 to 500 thousand rubles.

The law should come into force 10 days after its official publication.

Previously, the Federal Tax Service received the right to extrajudicially block sites through which money is transferred to illegal online casinos and lotteries.
