Russia (bbabo.net), - A landscape park and comfortable public spaces will appear as part of the arrangement of two new sections of the future Yauza Park in the north-east of the capital. The details were told to journalists by the deputy mayor in the government of Moscow, Pyotr Biryukov.
"We continue to implement the project to create a unique environmental facility - Yauza Park. This year, work is planned on two sections in the floodplain of the river of the same name from the Moscow Ring Road to Yeniseiskaya Street," said Petr Biryukov. "When developing the concept, the historical and natural features of the territories, wishes of local residents. We will carry out all activities with the maximum preservation of the natural topography and vegetation."
On the site along Severodvinskaya Street, it is planned to create an area where there will be a stage with an amphitheater, highlighted by an elliptical pergola with hanging swings. It will adjoin a playground with a play stream and a fountain.
“We will install a pavilion of the Moscow Longevity project for elderly citizens, from the second level of which a view of a labyrinth with shrubs in the form of the Yauza Park inscription will open, we will equip a platform with exercise equipment,” Piotr Biryukov emphasized. “We will make a landscape park, a “health path” with different types of coverage and eco-space with wooden flooring and pergola".
At the request of cyclists, it is planned to create a new dirt park - a place where cyclists jump over earthen springboards. A panda park will appear on the territory with three options for trails designed for different age categories. On the section from Shirokaya Street to Yeniseiskaya Street, a new public space will be made with a cafe and a two-level playground with swings, trampolines and slides, and the reservoir will be rehabilitated. A skate park will be reconstructed, a playground for playing gorodki, a sports complex with exercise equipment will be made.
At the request of the artists, a pier will be built at the view point.
The head of the Municipal Economy Complex said that in the course of work on both sections, it is planned to put the road and path network in order, to equip comfortable bike and jogging paths.
“It is proposed to build eco-trails at each site along the banks of the Yauza River, and connect its banks with the help of nine crossing bridges,” said Petr Biryukov. “The territories will be additionally planted with trees, shrubs and flower beds.”
At the request of residents, areas for walking and training dogs will be equipped. It is planned to install an outdoor lighting system, video surveillance, alarm and notification in case of an emergency.
