Sovcombank registered a $5 billion Eurobond program

Sovcombank has registered a framework program for issuing $5 billion of Eurobonds on the Irish Stock Exchange.

The program is designed for five years and involves the issuance of three types of securities - perpetual subordinated (T1), 10-year subordinated (T2) and senior Eurobonds, including "green" and social.

The organizers of the program are JP Morgan, Renaissance Capital and Sovcombank, while Bank of New York Mellon became the trustee and paying agent.

“Last year we placed two issues and in both cases we noted an increased interest in securities from foreign institutional investors. At the peak, demand exceeded supply twice,” said Sergei Khotimsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sovcombank.

The actual issue of Eurobonds can be carried out both by arrangers and key partner banks (Citi, HSBC, ING Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, Societe General, UniCredit and others), with which Sovcombank cooperates on syndicated lending.
