Nestle and Reckitt warn of higher prices for sweets and condoms

Sweets maker Nestle and condoms Reckitt have warned of rising prices for their products, citing higher production costs. The BBC writes about this, citing a message from company representatives.

Nestle said it had already raised prices by 3.1% in the fourth quarter of 2021. This was done to offset the increase in operating expenses. Representatives of the company noted that in 2022 prices will be even higher than in 2021.

Reckitt, which owns the Durex and Dettol brands, reported price increases due to inflation and ever-increasing costs.
