Russia - Falling icicles turned into criminal cases in Penza and Saratov

Russia (bbabo.net), - The cyclone, which brought warming to the European part of Russia, caused numerous injuries. The caps of snow on the uncleaned roofs of the houses and the peaks of the entrances have melted and turned into heavy ice that falls on people.

A young man and a pensioner suffered in Penza. The Investigative Committee of the Penza Region opened a criminal case under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life or health of consumers."

City management companies refer to the fact that they have already exhausted the limit for snow removal in January, and snowfalls continue. For shortcomings in the work, she was relieved of the post of Deputy Minister of Housing and Public Utilities of the Penza Region. “People write that the “managers” work ugly, and the person who oversees the housing inspection replies: “Everything is fine, beautiful marquise!” the head of the region was indignant at one of the meetings.

A criminal case was opened in Samara after ice fell on a person from the roof of a high-rise building. The injured townswoman was forced to seek medical attention. And this case in the city, unfortunately, is not an isolated one - the Samara communal services did not stand the test of strength due to snowfalls this year. If they at the very least clean the main roads, then there are practically no sidewalks in the city now - instead of them there are narrow paths littered with snow and blocks of ice.

The case of the fall of an ice block from the roof of an apartment building was also initiated in ZATO Svetly of the Saratov region - there the victims were a 33-year-old woman and her child, who was in a stroller. Both are hospitalized with injuries.
