In Siberia, they planned to launch preferential mortgages for citizens who moved to work in the Siberian Federal District (SFD). According to Izvestia, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Finance and the Dom.rf Development Institute should develop the program by February 28, 2022.
The office of Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Victoria Abramchenko told reporters that the program will affect Russians moving to work in Altai, Tyva, Khakassia, Krasnoyarsk and Altai Territories, Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk and Tomsk regions.
Also in these regions, preferential mortgages for young specialists and scientists can be launched.
The State Duma of the Russian Federation believes that the "Siberian mortgage" will stimulate developers to build housing, which will attract even more people to Siberia.
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Finance expects mortgage rates to stabilize at 11-12% in 2022. Some Russian banks have been raising mortgage rates since the beginning of 2022, which have now exceeded 10%. At the same time, some experts assumed that the cost of mortgage loans in Russia could reach 15% this year.
