Russia (bbabo.net) - The increase in gas reserves in our country in 2021 amounted to 1.017 trillion cubic meters, the increase in oil reserves - 628 million tons. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Alexander Kozlov.

According to him, oil production in 2021 is expected at 517 million tons, and natural gas - 740 billion cubic meters.

As the head of Rosnedr, Evgeny Petrov, clarified, the bulk of the increase in oil and gas reserves was obtained as a result of additional exploration in already developed areas.

According to the data presented in the state report "On the state and use of Russia's mineral resources in 2020," recoverable oil reserves in Russia as of January 1, 2021 are 31.43 billion tons, and natural gas reserves - 71 trillion cubic meters.
