Hackers brought down Ukrainian state websites

Websites of Ukrainian ministries and departments were blocked on the morning of January 14. It is reported by Cybernews.

On the main pages of the sites there is a stub in Russian, Polish and Ukrainian, which states that all the personal data of the person who visited this site is “uploaded to the public network”, and the data on the computer is “destroyed, it is impossible to restore it.”

“All information about you has become public, be afraid and expect the worst. This is for your past, present and future, for Volyn, for the OUN, the UPA (the organization is banned in Russia), for Galicia, for Polissya and for historical lands, ”the message says.

According to the publication, cyber attacks on the infrastructure of Ukraine have been regularly occurring since 2014, when a coup d'état against Viktor Yanukovych took place in the country. Hackers disabled power units in Ukraine, cash desks in supermarkets, banking systems, violated radiation control at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

Earlier, Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin discussed with Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov the provision of military assistance to Kiev and "Russia's buildup of a military group."
