Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - Officially, 225 people have died during the riots in Kazakhstan. Such data were announced by Serik Shalabaev, a representative of the country's General Prosecutor's Office.

According to him, the riots claimed the lives of 19 security officials.

Shalabaev also noted that among the victims of the clashes there are both bandits and civilians. He did not give the number of either.

In total, more than 4.5 thousand people were injured, for the most part they were employees of law enforcement agencies (almost 3.4 thousand). And we are talking only about those who applied for medical assistance.

More than 500 criminal cases related to the riots, including terrorism and murders, are currently being investigated in the country.
