In addition, over 162,000 representatives of the Armed Forces who had contact with infected COVID-19 were removed from medical control after two weeks of quarantine and control testing.

To date, 1,393 military personnel who have tested positive for coronavirus are under medical supervision. 669 patients with a new coronavirus infection are in military hospitals. 12 military men are being treated by civilian doctors. Another 712 people are isolated at home.

It is reported that the vast majority of the disease is asymptomatic. However, one soldier is in critical condition. In two more infected with coronavirus, doctors diagnosed the average severity of the disease.

Among military personnel, cadets and students of universities of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, according to the data, 131 people with coronavirus have been identified to date. In civilian personnel of the Armed Forces, a dangerous infection was found in 207 employees.

The department noted that about a thousand people are now being treated in 18 multidisciplinary medical centers of the Russian Ministry of Defense, 181 of which are civilians. “Patients receive all types of specialized care, from diagnostics to surgical treatment for the widest range of pathologies, including those affected by coronavirus infection,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The bulletin says that with the start of the work of multidisciplinary centers built by the Russian Ministry of Defense in 16 regions of the country, almost 30.6 thousand patients provided medical care there, about 12 thousand of which were civilians. "All of them received the necessary treatment in hospitals at medical centers, recovered and were discharged," the ministry said.

To date, 538,247 people have undergone planned revaccination in the Armed Forces, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
