Russia - More than 2,000 people visited information centers in four Moscow parks

Russia (bbabo.net) - In two weeks of operation, information centers that opened in Bitsevsky Forest, Kuskovo, Pokrovsky-Streshnev and on the territory of two sites in the floodplain of the Yauza River were visited by 2,072 people. These centers collect all the information about what works are supposed to be carried out on the territory of green areas, and residents can offer their own options for arrangement. This is reported by the department of capital repairs of Moscow.

The main flow of visitors came during the New Year holidays. Then more than 1.2 thousand citizens came to the information centers, and 130 people left their wishes and suggestions. In total, almost 370 visitors used the feedback form during the work of the infopoints.

“Information centers are designed for an open dialogue with residents,” said Sergey Melnikov, deputy head of the Moscow Department of Capital Repairs. “In them, any citizen of our city will be able to get answers to all questions about the planned activities for each of the territories, as well as find out information about the stages and deadlines residents have the opportunity to discuss the proposed conceptual solutions on the spot, give feedback with their wishes and suggestions, and if new ones appear, then come back again."

The general wishes of the residents concerned the construction of modern children's and sports grounds, the organization of comfortable paths made of environmentally friendly materials and convenient toilets. But there were also specific ones. For example, visitors to the information center in Kuskovo are asked to clear the territory of dead and wind-blown trees, relocate the boat station, install more benches for rest, consider the possibility of arranging a barbecue area elsewhere, and organize a cafe. More than 40 people expressed their wishes and suggestions, and almost 770 citizens visited the information point.

The restoration of the estate and the greenhouse in the park "Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo" became the main wishes expressed by the residents of the surrounding areas. In addition, the townspeople ask to install more litter bins, make lighting at the playground at the entrance to the park, tidy up the existing eco-trail and organize convenient entrance groups to the park. Residents are also asked to consider the possibility of reducing the number of new sports grounds. More than 600 people visited the information center, and more than 160 Muscovites used the feedback form.

Visitors to the information centers in Bitsevsky Forest are interested in whether the Dog Pond will be rehabilitated. They also ask to organize volleyball courts, to make new lighting on the playground on the street. Red Lighthouse and organize parking for vacationers near the park. In total, more than 160 out of 652 visitors left their wishes and suggestions in three information centers of the Bitsevsky Forest.

During the operation of the information center in the floodplain of the Yauza River, 50 people visited it. They would like to place a platform for walking and training dogs, organize a pedestrian connection between the banks of the river, and also carry out additional landscaping of the territory.

Note that the information centers will continue their work. They operate daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. If people do not receive answers to some questions on the spot, this will be recorded in the feedback form.
