The Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian long-range air defense system (air defense) S-400 "Triumph" was delivered to Belarus as part of the exercises. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“The S-400 Triumf anti-aircraft missile system of the Air Force and Air Defense Association of the Eastern Military District, involved in checking the response forces of the Union State, has arrived in the Republic of Belarus,” the Russian military department said in a statement.

They noted that from the unloading station, the Russian military will march on standard equipment to the training ground in the Brest region.

Earlier, the Armed Forces of Russia and Belarus began joint military exercises "Allied Resolve - 2022", which are taking place at the Domanovsky, Gozhsky, Obuz-Lesnovsky, Brestsky and Osipovichsky training grounds.

The exercises will take place in two stages. From February 2 to February 9, the units will redeploy, create groupings of troops and organize the protection and defense of important state and military facilities. It is also planned to check the readiness of air defense to carry out tasks to cover important objects on the territory of Belarus.
