The head of the Fifth Republic, Emmanuel Macron, admits the possibility of a trip to Moscow. He stated this in the commune of Tourcoing (Hauts-de-France region), TASS reports.

"I don't rule anything out," the French president replied to journalists' questions about the possibility of a visit to Russia.

"I do not exclude anything, because I think that the role of France, especially during its presidency of the EU Council, is to try to find a common solution," he specified the conditions under which his trip is possible.

At the same time, he declared his readiness for negotiations with the presidents of the Russian Federation and Ukraine to resolve the current difficult situation.

"I will also continue negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky," Macron promised.
