Ex-deputy of the Ukrainian Rada Olena Bondarenko, on the air of the Nash TV channel, criticized President Volodymyr Zelensky for blocking TV channels objectionable to Kiev.

"The clowns in this country have never been so evil and vengeful. If we recall the story of the previous closed channels, no evidence of the accusations has been provided to the public so far. This suggests that this is clearly a political revenge," the ex- deputy.

The reason for criticism of the president was the decision of the National Security and Defense Council approved by him on February 11 to impose sanctions against companies that own the Nash shopping mall for a period of 5 years.

According to Bondarenko, such actions of the Ukrainian authorities have a negative impact on the political rating of Zelensky himself:

"The army of dissatisfied is growing. The army of those offended by the authorities is growing. And this means that soon, instead of 17 percent of support at the moment, Zelensky will have zero on the scoreboard."

Earlier, the Ukrainian authorities blocked the broadcasting of the TV channels KRT, 112 Ukraine, NewsOne, ZIK, Pershiy Nezalezhny and Ukrliv.
