In Lithuania, they spoke about the blocking of Israel's arms supplies to Ukraine

Chairman of the Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas) Viktoria Cmilyte-Nilsen said that Israel did not block the supply of weapons to Ukraine from the territory of the Baltic states, LRT reports.

Such reports about the decision of the Israeli authorities have previously appeared in the media.

“At meetings with Israeli politicians - the chairman of the Knesset (Israeli parliament), its members and the chairman of the foreign affairs and defense committee - I asked a question about the information that had appeared and received assurances that this information was not true, that Israel had no demands on the Baltic countries regarding weapons didn’t pass it on,” Cmilyte-Nielsen said.

However, she did not ask about the possibility of transferring Israeli weapons to Ukraine if necessary and without obstacles.

“It is obvious that Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia can freely dispose and make decisions in accordance with their understanding of the threat that has now arisen in Ukraine,” the Speaker of the Seimas explained her position.

Earlier it was reported that, according to sources in the Israeli Ministry of Defense, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were forbidden to transfer Israeli-made weapons to Kiev, including Spike anti-tank systems.
