The press service of the office of the President of Ukraine stated that the representatives of Kiev at the talks of Normandy Format advisers in Berlin intend to seek to unblock the work of the Trilateral Contact Group to resolve the conflict in Donbass (TCG). This was reported on the official website of the official Internet representation of the President of Ukraine.

“One of the main goals of the Ukrainian side at the talks of political advisers to the leaders of the states participating in the Normandy format is to unblock the work of the Trilateral Contact Group with the aim of future progress in a peaceful settlement and ending the conflict in Donbas… Ukraine will also take initiatives to improve the verification of the full ceasefire regime in east of the country,” the publication says.

The statement notes that separately Kiev plans to raise the issue of unblocking the process of mutual release of detainees and the opening of checkpoints on the demarcation line.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the German government is ready for dialogue with Russia at all levels to resolve the situation around Ukraine.
