This did not affect only oncological care and assistance to children.
The daily recorded increase in cases in the region, according to the department, currently exceeds 800 people. At the same time, at the peak of the previous wave, this indicator was in the range of 600-650.
Because of this, the load on the outpatient clinic link has sharply increased, in some institutions the increase was up to seven times.
“Like in some other regions of the country, we have decided to temporarily suspend routine medical examinations and medical examinations for adults and children, the work of day hospitals, except for routine oncological care, and the provision of assistance to children,” the words of the Minister of Health of the region Alexander Gashkov are quoted in an official statement.
According to him, temporarily free medical workers will be sent to help colleagues in the primary care, all emergency care has been fully preserved.
In addition, according to the Ministry of Health, more than 100 students of 2-6 courses and residents, more than 40 people of the volunteer movement, who were sent to work in call centers, registry, filters, and so on, were attracted to help doctors. For trips to somatic patients, the fleet of the regional government and administrations of municipalities was involved.
