The Federation Council accused Zelensky of deceiving voters

Member of the Federation Council Aleksey Pushkov commented on the statement of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky that he allegedly does not remember who signed the Minsk agreements. The senator wrote about this Telegram channel.

According to Pushkov, in this way the Ukrainian leader expresses his attitude towards the Minsk agreements.

“Does Zelensky remember his campaign promises? And that he was chosen as an antithesis to [ex-president of Ukraine Petro] Poroshenko, so that he would not prepare a war, but would establish reasonable relations with Russia? Does he remember this? Or does he remember only that in London to rush to a meeting with the chief of British intelligence? That’s exactly what he remembers,” said the Russian parliamentarian.

Earlier, Zelensky said that he does not remember who signed the Minsk agreements, but Ukraine is responsible for their implementation.

The Minsk agreements were signed by the members of the Trilateral Contact Group in 2015. From Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma, chairman of the contact group on the settlement of the conflict in Donbas, took part in the signing of the documents.
