Russia (bbabo.net), - On February 2, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation published a message on the ban on entry into Russia to the Secretary of State (State Secretary) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro Zoran Milyanich. The corresponding note was sent to the Embassy of Montenegro in Moscow.

"This measure is a response to the unfriendly step taken by the Montenegrin authorities in October 2021 - granting political asylum to a citizen of the Russian Federation Telman Ismailov, who was put on the international wanted list through Interpol for committing especially serious crimes on the territory of the Russian Federation," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

In October 2021, it became known that businessman Telman Izmailov received political asylum in Montenegro and, for this reason, cannot be extradited to Russia.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation put the businessman on the international wanted list in 2017. He is suspected of involvement in the murder of two entrepreneurs, illegal arms trafficking, and also in the kidnapping of singer Abraham Russo.
