Earlier, Nikolai Kolomeytsev, deputy head of the Communist Party faction, said that Zyuganov was feeling well.

Zyuganov himself previously reported that he would be discharged in "two or three days." The head of the party also said that the hospitalization is of a prophylactic nature in connection with the operation carried out several years ago, he feels fine and is in working condition.

LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky is currently in the same hospital as Zyuganov. According to the Ministry of Health, the condition of the politician, who contracted the coronavirus, is assessed as stable. The head of the Communist Party denied media reports about the meeting of the two party leaders.
