Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - The regular training courses for imams and leaders of Muslim organizations at the Druzhba Yamal recreation center in the suburbs of Tyumen began yesterday with a pleasant awarding ceremony. The heads of four LROs received the Badge of Honor from the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Tyumen Region, and several other spiritual mentors received certificates of honor and gratitude. Mufti of the Spiritual Muslim Board of the Tyumen Region Zinnat Sadykov presented the awards to distinguished religious figures.

The list of seminar participants includes 85 names of imams and chairmen of the LRO. For three days for 32 hours they will listen to lectures on aqida, fiqh, socialization, an integrative course, interfaith relations and the prevention of extremism. Rashid Sibgatullin, Doctor of Islamic Sciences, lecturer at the Kazan Islamic University, came from Tatarstan to give lectures, and Damir Nafikov, a representative of the Russian Islamic University TsDUMR, came from Bashkiria. The senior assistant to the regional prosecutor Albert Kulmukhametov, professor of the Tyumen State University Alexander Yarkov and specialists from the spiritual administration will also speak to the spiritual leaders.

Recall that quarterly training courses for Tyumen imams have been held at out-of-town recreation centers since 2016, with financial assistance from the government of the Tyumen region.
