Russia (bbabo.net), - On February 10, the arbitration court will consider the so-called "pesticide case" - chemicals that were brought to Primorye from the Amur Region, the official Telegram channel of the government of Primorye reports.
The position of the Primorye Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources is to recognize the contract as null and return the chemicals to the Amur Region, which the department will apply for. The government of Primorye will apply for participation in the court as a third party.
According to Elena Parkhomenko, deputy chairman of the government of Primorye, the authorities of Primorsky Krai also continue to insist that pesticides be removed from the territory of the region and returned to the Amur region.
It is noted that while the trials are ongoing, a temporary hangar is being built in the Khorol district to store bags of chemicals, and supervisory authorities continue to monitor the state of the atmosphere.
Recall that in the fall of 2021, about 300 tons of pesticides were brought to Primorye from the Vostochny cosmodrome, which were placed at sites in the Nadezhdinsky and Khorolsky districts. They were planned to be disposed of, but local residents opposed. Checks began on the company that stored the dangerous goods, the authorities of Primorye wanted to return it to the Amur region, but the neighbors refused to accept it back. In parallel, an examination of the substances was ordered, which showed that these are agrochemicals that have lost their operational properties.
