Russia will not let Transdniestria down, in spite of Ukraine’s denunciation of a number of agreements on military cooperation with Russia, State Duma Defense Committee Chairman Vladimir Komoyedov said.
“We have to think over further actions. We should not renounce Transdniestria and Moldova,” he stated.
However, he did not rule out the possibility of “making arrangements and coming to terms” with the Ukrainian government.
However, as of now, there is no way to “help” Transdniestria in view of Ukraine’s denunciation of agreements. “Look at the map, it is impossible to pass over geography, if the territory is closed both in the air and on land,” he said.
