Russia (bbabo.net), - Deputies from the Duma Committee on Education will prepare an initiative to return classical labor lessons to schools. This was stated by the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education Yana Lantratova ("A Just Russia - For the Truth").

This proposal was made at the first meeting of the working group on children's safety, protection of life and health of students and teachers.

According to the deputy, the current technology lessons should be replaced by labor education lessons. “These are classic labor lessons that were once. Where children were taught to do something with their own hands,” Lantratova specified.

According to her, she discussed this topic with colleagues, and a corresponding initiative will be worked out subsequently.

At the classical labor lessons, girls were taught home economics with lessons in cutting and sewing, cooking, housekeeping, and boys were taught the basics of simple household and craft work, modeling, etc.

At the meeting of the working group, the deputies also discussed measures to create a safe environment for children and adolescents on the Internet, as well as mechanisms formation of positive youth content on the Web. As a result of the meeting, representatives of different factions will prepare their proposals for regulating this sphere.
