Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky said on February 14 that all structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are fulfilling their tasks to ensure the internal security of Ukraine, and Ukrainians themselves should remain calm and continue their daily work. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also assured that the ministry would make every effort to prevent "separatist manifestations" that were observed in the spring of 2014 in Kharkiv, Lugansk and Donetsk.
“We will not allow a repetition of Slavyansk either. If some “Gorkin” tries to seize the administrative buildings, he will be shot by our special forces without notice or hesitation,” Monastyrsky said.
“300,000 policemen, national guardsmen, border guards and rescuers carry out their daily service to protect the internal security of Ukraine. Despite any statements about possible aggressive actions by the Russian Federation, no one panics and is not afraid - everyone is just doing their job for the sake of the peace of Ukrainians, ”the minister said in a video message.
A spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has not previously confirmed the information about the entry ban for Russian men of military age.
He refuted reports of unspoken instructions for border guards and stressed that the border guards operate within the framework of the laws of Ukraine, which must be observed by all foreigners without exception.
