Russia (bbabo.net), - The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation distributed photos and video footage of how the units of the Southern Military District, which completed the planned tactical exercises at the Crimean training grounds, are preparing to return to their permanent deployment points.

"The personnel of the battalion tactical groups made marches to the areas of railway stations, where the loading of military equipment on the echelons is organized. Heavy tracked armored vehicles - tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and self-propelled artillery installations - are being fixed on the platforms of the wagons in the established order," the press service of the Southern Military District reported.

They specified that drivers and military equipment would be delivered by rail, including to garrisons in Dagestan and North Ossetia. After returning to winter quarters, armored vehicles and other arsenals are waiting for maintenance and preparation for the next stage of combat training.

Earlier, the press service of the district reported that reinforced companies of battalion tactical groups of combined arms formations of the Southern Military District were involved in tactical exercises, and the exercises themselves were held on the territory of 15 military training grounds.
