Zakharova declared Russia's indifference to the statements of NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a regular briefing for journalists, said that the statements of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg are no longer of interest to Moscow, and his arguments are not serious.

“This is not the man. whose statements will be considered in Moscow as serious arguments. This is a downed NATO pilot. Therefore, we will focus on a serious conversation, if our Western partners are ready for it,” she said.

Earlier it was reported that Stoltenberg was appointed to the post of head of the Central Bank of Norway. At the same time, according to the Norwegian media, most parties in the Norwegian Parliament did not support Stoltenberg's candidacy for this position.

Jens Stoltenberg was Prime Minister of Norway from 2000 to 2001 and from 2005 to 2013. October 1, 2014 he headed NATO. His mandate in this post was extended twice, he will remain in the status of the Secretary General of the alliance until September 30, 2022.
